Why RiceNetwork ?
To provide a common platform for the worldwide Rice Community to discuss and share experiences, problems, solutions, ideas, suggestions and and any other issues which concern the great majority of rice farmers, millers, traders and other service providers worldwide.
Who can Participate
Any person of any nationality, origin, religion or creed who has an innate interest in Issues related to Rice Industry, Rice Farming and Rice Trade.
We do NOT discriminate anyone.
All are most welcome and invited.
Why there is no control?
There is no control nor barriers as we do believe in true form of free expression and trust that we all are human beings governed by the same laws of nature.
One can talk one to one or one to many.
We trust and believe in friendship, human values and oneness of global family.

People of Rice Industry Trade worldwide from farmers to creative business people around the world, from a miller to bureaucrats, Politicians and policy makers.
Is there any moderation ?
Yes the RiceNetwork boards are moderated by a small team of dedicated moderators.
In addition, we will welcome regular volunteer moderators who can steer, write, guide, edit or moderate a specific discussion or thread.
Who can become a moderator ?
Any person interested in sharing his/her spare time to assist people and a zeal to participate in Rice Industry and Trade affairs. Just post, start a thread and plunge in.
What language one can write in ?
Preferably in English being understood by all however you may write in any major language like Spanish, French or any other language.
What is the max length of posts ?
We generally prefer that posts may not be more than 20k or about 20.000 bytes long.

How can I start a New topic or discussion

Which topics need moderators ?
We need moderators for discussions on Rice Industry and Trade in specific countries and areas.
in an Indian Market, there are many Companies which provide Branded Packed rice, and there are some local Companies which offer loose bags with no Branding.
do you think that there is a difference between the varieties, as to me when i had tried the loose bins customers like the rice. i am also afraid that this attitude of customer can harm the Branded rice Packing as customers do not have the right knowledge to judge a pure Basmati.
please what you think of the Indian Market in this regard.
